If you visit the kiosk machine at your local resident services you can purchase a collection of Mario items. One of the best finds in the collection is the pipe. If you place the pipe in one location of your island and jump down it, it will lead you down the pipe and pop you back in the same location.
If you place two pipes in two locations you can teleport from one pipe to the other. If you place three or more pipes it’s unclear where you will end up when you jump. It may be a luck if the draw, or there may be some secret strategy to the coordinates of your destination.
