"Lorenzo the Engachon puppy at 2 months old—he is very cute! We also have a Cocker Spaniel named Darla and Lorenzo wants to play with Darla all the time, but Darla is not quite ready. So we have this little puppy jumping around our Cocker Spaniel like a rabbit as Darla is lying on the floor. It is almost like he is saying: Come on, Darla! Let's play! Come on please! Please!"
The Engachon is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the English Toy Spaniel. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
