"Butler is a rescue from California. We adopted him when he was 3 years old. We were told he was a Lhasa Apso and Shih Tzu mix. I have seen Havanese dogs and he looks much more like that to me. He is very aggressive and fearful of grooming of any kind, but he is incredibly loving and sticks to me like super glue at home. He loves running at the beach and dog park. He's fixed. He only eats his food when he's hungry and doesn't have set feeding times. He's potty trained. He hates big dogs. Sometimes over silly things he'll cower to the floor, which leads us to believe he was abused at some point. Wings of Hope rescued him and 7 other small white dogs from a high kill shelter. He has a bald spot on his butt that had mange and the hair has not grown back. He's entertaining, loves his toys and is a resource guarder with them."
