This is a majestic old guy. He's a 1950s Goebel trademark 2 (TMK-2) Great Dane with the full bee and V mark on the belly. There is also a number 9 engraved into the bottom. He was made in Germany. This figurine really shows how the Great Danes used to look in the 1950s. He reminds me of the original Scooby Doo and Marmaduke dogs. This is a smaller figurine standing 3 3/4 inches tall from the ground to the top of the ears, about 4 1/2 inches long from the nose to the back leg and 1 1/4 inch wide across the chest. He is tan with a black muzzle and in excellent vintage condition. He does have some crazing all over.

This is a West Germany vintage Goebel porcelain Great Dane dog figurine made between 1972 and 1978. This glossy piece has the Goebel logo stamped under the glaze on the bottom with the name Goebel in blue and the V with a bee inside of it (TMK-5). Under that it reads W. Germany. On the inside of the back left leg is an engraved number that reads 3063310. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs but does have crazing all over. This very nice looking fawn and black Dane stands 4 inches high from the ground to the top of the ears, 5 inches long from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail and is 1 1/2 inch wide.

Pictured is a vintage 1950s Great Dane dog by Goebel. It is of a tan dog with shades of gray and black on the snoot and tips of the paws. The eyes and nose are black. On the bottom of the figurine is the Goebel trademark 2 (TMK-2) Goebel logo of the full bee inside the V. The logo sets the date of the figurine between 1950 and 1956. There is also an engraving that reads CH 565 8 and a second engraving that I think reads 97. It measures 5/8 inch tall from the ground to the tip of the ear, 4 1/4 inch long from the front paws to the base of the tail and 1 1/2 inch wide across the back from hip to hip. It was made in West Germany.

Pictured is a vintage Goebel Great Dane dog figurine with the double crown mark dating it between 1935 and 1949. The crown mark is the Goebel trademark 1 logo. It is a symbol of a crown with WG overlapping one another, which are the initials of William Goebel. The word double means that the crown mark appears twice on one piece. This dog has both a mark stamped in green and an incised mark. The stamp is under the glaze and is very well defined. The incised mark is very clear. There is a number engraving that reads CH 197 and the letters Dep. The Great Dane is in a lying down pose. It is brown, gray and black with white on the snout, tips of the feet and parts of the leg. The tips of the ears are black. The mouth is gray. There is a black stripe on the top of the dog's head running down the back to the tip of the tail. The eyebrows, eyes and nose are black. The tail is cropped and the ears are docked standing up-right. It measures 3 3/4 inches tall from the ground to the tip of the ear, 6 1/2 inches long from the tip of the front paws to the tip of the tail and 2 inches wide across the back hips. Made in Germany

There is a black stripe on the top of the dog's head running down the back to the tip of the tail. The eyebrows and nose are black. The eyes are nicely defined by the mold with raised pupils, however it appears someone neglected to paint them. The tail is cropped and the ears are docked standing up-right. It measures 3 3/4 inches tall from the ground to the tip of the ear, 6 1/2 inches long from the tip of the front paws to the tip of the tail and 2 inches wide across the back hips. Made in Germany
