This is a vintage Goebel 1950s figurine of two Scottish Terriers, an orange Scottie and a black one. The black dog has got a hold of the orange dog’s cheek and is giving it a tug. On the bottom of the figurine is the Goebel trademark 2 (TMK-2) logo of the full bee inside the V. This dates the figurine between 1950 and 1956. This piece looks like it has been through a lot. There is a film over the outside glaze that looks like it is from being inside the home of a smoker for many years. There are six little chips in the glaze, which some collectors and sellers like to cleverly call 'flea bites.' On the bottom is an engraving that reads CH 3322/0. It is not a very big figurine; measuring only 1 7/8 inch from the ground to the tip of the orange dogs ear, 2 1/2 inches long across the front from the orange dogs lower ear to the black dogs tail and about 1 1/4 inch wide from the tip of the orange dog’s tail to the front of its paw.

This is the Hagen-Renaker miniature Scottish Terrier by artist Don Winton. It is item number 856 and was the same mold as the Disney character Jock. Jock was first made from 1955 to the fall of 1959. In the 1960s when the license expired between the Hagen-Renaker company and Disney, HR continued to produce some of the same models, but with less detail. This non-Disney version was first made in 1966 and was in and out of the HR line for many years. It is of a black Scottie dog with a red collar and a gold tag in a standing pose with one paw in the air. It measures 1 3/8 inch tall from the ground to the top of the ear, 1 1/2 inch long from the tip of the nose to the back of the tail and 3/4 inch wide across the back from hip to hip. Made in the USA

This ceramic wheaten Scottish Terrier dog looks like she was made in someone’s ceramic class. However I saw another one similar to this one on eBay of the dog in a yellow spotted jacket in a standing pose, same face that appears to be wearing eye make-up. Therefore she is most likely from a ceramic line. I do not remember exactly where I acquired her, but I have had her since the 1990s—possibly the 1980s from a flea market where I bought many of my figurines. She's a cute little thing wearing her blue polka-dot jacket with her red tongue sticking out. Nice little pink ears. She's in a sitting pose and is 3 inches tall, 2 inches long from the tail to the front of the paws and 1 1/2 inches from hip to hip.
