This is a vintage bone china Silky Terrier figurine. She is 2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches long. She has a sweet face and adorable eyes. Her colors are a bit off for a Silky; the actual dogs are darker in color but I think that is what she was meant to be all the same. The light coloring reminds me of some of the Silky Terrier hybrids, but all of the features are of the Silky. Since hybrid dogs were not popular back when this was made I am going with a Silky. I believe she is just faded because there is a bow on the top of her head that is slightly pink but mostly washed out into white. It is possible she was darker back in the day, or maybe she was always light on the color. In any case she is adorable with no chips or cracks. She was purchased used at a flea market in the 1990s.
