What a difference a dog can make in someone's happiness! Another fun day was had at North Shore Connexions Society when volunteers from BC Pets and Friends made their weekly visit to see the residents with their English Mastiff dogs. They visit each home for one hour, bringing a smile to many faces. The residents really enjoy it and so do the volunteers. The Mastiffs shown in the pictures are Walter and Hilda from BC Pets and Friends along with a guest Mastiff, Sassy from MistyTrails Mastiffs. The dogs are gentle giants.
That is one big Mastiff!
The dogs are so mellow they can be tugged on and leaned upon and they take it all in stride.
Leaving for the night—the dogs are so well trained and behaved that the residents can walk them to the car themselves.
Sassy, Walter & Hilda are escorted into the car.
