Description

The Siamese cat is graceful, long, muscular and svelte. It has a long, pointed, tapered, thin tail. The paws are dainty, oval and small. The head is triangular in shape. The ears are very large in size with a pointed, wide based shape. The eyes are medium in size blue, almond shaped eye. The nose is long with no break, straight fine and medium in size.  The chin is wedge shaped.

Coat 

The coat is short, fine, glossy and lies close to the body.

Colors and Patterns

The coat colors are seal point, chocolate point, blue point and lilac point. The eyes are deep and vivid blue.

Temperament

Elongated, this svelte but muscular cat is adventurous, playful, nosy,  and vocal. They are leash adaptable. Courageous, jealous and lively.

Height, Weight

Male 9-14 pounds (4-6.5 kg.), Female 6-10 pounds (2.7-4.8 kg.)

The Siamese need outdoor space to roam, such as in a terrace or yard.

No daily grooming, generally hypoallergenic

Origin

Siam (Thailand). This breed of cat is known as the royal cat of Siam and the ultimate in feline beauty.
