This page rates dogs on their prey drive. Some types of dogs are natural born hunters and have very high prey drives, making them less reliable with non-canine pets such as rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds etc... while other breeds have less of a prey drive. The ratings on this page do not necessarily reflect every dog and there are always exceptions to the rule. It is always advised that you socialize, train and supervise your pets at all times. Any dog can turn out to be good with other pets and any dog can kill another small animal. However if you are looking for a dog that will get along with a rabbit your chances of success are higher with a dog that has a lower prey drive.
