Daisy the Newfoundland, Lab & Chow mix breed dog at 2 years old"Daisy is a mutt; she's a cross between a Newfy, a lab, and a Chow. I adopted her from the Humane Society when she was 3 months old. She'd already been spayed and they found her on the side of the road in a cardboard box. Now that she is full grown she is pretty big. She's 26" at the shoulders and weighs about 70 pounds. She has a lot of behavioral problems. She's pretty smart, but oh boy is she ever bad! In the past almost 3 years that I've had her, she has eaten rat poison, tons of chocolate, cigarettes by the carton, chicken bones out of the trash... and the list just goes on and on... she eats anything that isn't nailed down and she even knows how to open the pantry and the refridgerator doors. We can't really even put things up high on the table or kitchen counter because she can still reach it. We have to put it way up in the cupboards in the kitchen if we don't want her to get it. When she was a puppy, she would bite people for no reason. And she still does occasionally but if I ask her to stop she does."
