"My name is Taylor, and I’m a 23 year old Canadian that has been a fan of your website since I could use the computer (around six years old). For hours a day, I would look up dog breeds and read about them, so much so that even today I can name some pretty obscure dogs in the street and it’s become something of a party trick of mine to be able to identify so many breeds. Part of my research as a 6 year old was done in hopes that I could convince my parents that I was a responsible expert on dogs so that we could get one. Two years later in 2004, I did enough research on a breed that was hypo-allergenic enough to convince my family to get us a puppy. We named her Oreo Angel and my eight year old self was absolutely thrilled. We wouldn’t have found that combination and I wouldn’t have been able to convince my parents I was ready without the help of your website. Even today, I still consult it when I think I remember a name of a breed but want to confirm. That’s pretty impressive considering wikipedia exists!"
"This past Saturday, December 21st, we said goodbye to Oreo at home, surrounded by her family. She was 15.5 years old and starting to decline, and we felt it was best to send her off surrounded by love and at a time when we could celebrate her life. Through this process, my thought went back to your website and how it all started, and I thought it would be the most amazing thing for Oreo’s picture to be the face of the Zuchon page in order to inspire other little girls like me who might be searching your website, or anyone really that wants to learn more about the breed."
"Oreo was a fabulous, fairly healthy dog but most importantly a great companion."
