Kratos the German Rottweiler—"Kratos is the best friend and relative any human could ever have. Very loving always wanting to please was he. He protected me and my family and all he would ask for was some good scratches on the back and maybe a belly rub. But then I noticed a change in my buddy. He wasnt acting his usuall loveable self, and I noticed his vision was gone. His eyes were cloudy looking and he wasnt eating or drinking. I ran my pal to the vet where I got news no Rotty mom ever wants to hear... you have to put him down... he has a brain tumor. I was in shock. I can't, I couldn't, my boy was only a mere 4 years old, but I couldn't let him suffer, he was completely blind. And as it broke me apart, I had to do what was best for my friend...my best friend...R.I.P. HE WASN'T JUST MY DOG...HE WAS MY FAMILY."
"This is my Rottweiler Lizzy; I received her when she was 4 months old. She had only been potty trained at that point, and had never worn a collar or leash. I knew with a dog of this breed that I needed to get the best training possible, so I went to doing research on how to train her and I managed to stumble on Cesar Millan! I have watched every episode that Cesar has out as of the date of this writing. His advice and techniques have proven invaluable with my girl here. She is such a lover and once I established myself as pack leader that was all that was needed. She has never been to an obedience class, but she is as good as gold when I tell her to do something. She isn't too fond of baths, but she tolerates them because I ask her to. Her passion is fetching the tennis ball. She will sit and wait for you to throw it and then run right back to you with it and drop it on the ground and look at you waiting for you to throw it again. Lizzy has made a really big impact in my life. She has been and is my confidant, my companion and my friend. If I get to feeling down, she is right there with her head on my lap and when I reach down to pet her she looks at me and smiles...with a tennis ball glowing between her jaws! She knows how to take my mind off things. I also want to say that your site has also been a wonderful asset in mine and Lizzy's life. I have found such a smorgasbord of information about training and the general health and well-being of Lizzy. Thank you for such a great site!"
