Busy Beaucoup the Thai Ridgeback / Japanese Spitz mix breed dog at 10 years old—"Busy Beaucoup is a 50:50 cross between a beigh color Thai Ridgeback (father) and Japanese Spitz (mother). His height is 15.5 inches (39 cm.) and he weighs 42 pounds (19 kgs.) He came from a litter of 4 white puppies (2 male, 2 female). All of them had distinct white ridges on their backs. However Busy's ridge disappeared as an adult. Busy is the only one with cream markings on the ears and face. The other puppies were pure white. In terms of size, busy is the shortest amongst his littermates. The other pups were about 16-17 inches (38-40 cm.) tall. There are some variations concerning the coat quality and length. The other male dog had quite a short and smooth coat while the rest of the litter had medium length and soft coats. The areas such as the necks and back ends have double layer coats with protruding outer layers, while the bodies are cover with medium single layer coats."

Description

The Japanese Thai Ridgespitz is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Japanese Spitz and the Thai Ridgeback. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in any of the breeds in the hybrid. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
