The following are pictures taken of a nine-inch-long tapeworm that came out of a cat. The cat had thrown up the worm along with its food. The worm was still alive when the pictures were taken.
The same tapeworm as above, four hours later. A tapeworm needs moisture to stay alive. This one dried out and shriveled up.
