"This is a picture of my White American Shepherd at 1 year old weighing 110 lbs. His name is Dyno (pronounced die-no). Dyno is very playful and full of energy. White American Shepherds are very much like the German Shepherd in temperament. They need a dominant owner to establish a pack leader position. They do best with firm discipline and training. Can be very cautious of strangers but very friendly once acquainted. Shepherds do need daily exercise. They will do well indoors but really need space to run and play."

"This is my dog Blitz. He's a 2-year-old White German Shepherd. We're from Toronto, Canada. Your site has helped me a lot; he's more obedient than he used to be. Blitz is a dominant dog but I'm training him, being consistent and he's becoming a very good dog. He used to growl at me when I told him to get off the bed but now he doesn't! He'll do as told. Your site really helps me out. I'm still working on Blitz. Blitz and I go on many long walks, the dog park and pack walks. Blitz loves long walks and playing ball as well. Overall he's a good boy who is very friendly and playful, just in need of more training. An interesting fact about Blitz is that he loves eating oranges. I don't give him oranges often, sometimes though if he's really good I'll give him a slice."
