Meeko the Dutch Shepherd at 4 years old—"Hi, Well it is that time again, my birthday picture. I so can not believe another year has flown by. For my 4th birthday we went for a 4 hour walk/hike down by the lake. We hiked and I saw my first garden snake. Wasn't sure what to do, but I did get a few good sniffs in. It was a beautiful day with a lot of distractions going on, little children playing ball,bicycles, roller blades, joggers, and I walked so calmly. We stopped and sat under huge mature trees in the shade where I was groomed and given treats and water. Here's to another great year !"

Meeko the Dutch Shepherd at 1 year old—"Hi, I'm Meeko. Kelly is typing today because on the weekends I have spent hours in a huge park running and meeting all my buddies at the off leash trails. My paws are pooped. I am so lucky to have such fun. Kelly even brings snacks and I often get a cookie at the end of the trails while she brushes and grooms me, I am a handsome dog!! I often show my gratitude in our home where I am often bringing random items to Kelly, such as a toy or sock. I even managed to bring a drinking glass once from two levels in the home to the kitchen. I do admit Kelly looked very nervous as I brought it to her, Woof woof. I am also so happy that Kelly was smart enough to watch Mr. Milans video's and do research on my breed. She really understands me and I'm still growing!! Oh one more thing, she loves to bring me to the children's playground at night so as I can play on bigger toys. I just love pleasing Kelly. She gets so excited when I climb the stairs to the slide, then slide down right in front of her. She rubs my ears and tells me how smart I am. Even though we haven't been to obedience classes I think we are doing very well, but we are looking into it."
