Scout the Jack Russell Terrier / Boxer mix breed puppy at 3 months old weighing 15 pounds—"This is Scout. She's a Boxer/Jack Russell mix. Her mom was a Jack Russell and her dad was a brindle Boxer. She is a very well mannered and loving dog. She is also very playful and good with other dogs and kids. Everyone loves to be around her. She will keep us entertained for hours."
The Boxer Jack is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Jack Russell Terrier and the Boxer. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
