Information and Pictures

Bayly Blue Sky the Boxer / Whippet mix breed dog at 2 years old—"This is our middle child, Bayly Blue Sky. We have had her about 2 years now and adopted her from a local shelter. Bayly, along with her 7 siblings, were dropped off at the shelters door with a note stating what she was and why they couldn't keep the puppies. She is my heart and my world. We call her our cat. This dog knows how to do anything and everything. We come home and will find her sleeping on top of the kitchen counters. She enjoys any type of toy especially the ones our other dogs are playing with. She loves all little animals and is the best dog to have around kids. We know when we have our own baby she will be the one making the bottles at 3AM because she has to know what's going on when a baby cries."

Description

The a Boxer Whippet is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Boxer and the Whippet. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
