Italian Greyhound Having Puppies
"Five two-day-old Italian Greyhound puppies—I bought my dog from an I.G. breeder about a month ago. She was pregnant when I got her and didn't know until this last Monday the 13th. She then had the puppies on the 15th. I was completely ignorant to what I was doing so I printed the whelping manual from your website and it helped immensely. It guided me to cutting the umbilical cord on one of them and hand-delivering two of them."

Some breeders use hemostat clamps, and trim off the long cord themselves. Some dams do well with cord care, some do not.
