The Colorado Bulldog will do okay in an apartment if it is sufficiently exercised. It is very active indoors and will do alright without a yard. This breed prefers warmer climates.
This breed needs daily exercise or it will become hard to handle. It needs to be taken on long daily walks/jogs or runs. While out on the walk the dog must be made to heel beside or behind the person holding the lead, as instinct tells a dog the leader leads the way, and that leader needs to be the human. Teach the dog to enter and exit door and gateways after the humans.
About 12 to 14 years
About 5 puppies
The smooth, shorthaired coat is easy to groom. Brush on a regular basis with a firm bristle brush, and bathe or dry shampoo as necessary. A rub with a piece of toweling or chamois will make the coat gleam. This breed is an average shedder.
The Colorado Bulldog was created in Colorado, United States in the late 1990s.
