"Our puppy has a purebred Chow Chow mother (black) and a purebred Golden Retriever father. He is 12 weeks old and weighs in at 22lbs. We have named him Mojo. He seems to be a very smart dog. He already knows the commands for sit, down and leave it (placing treats in front of him and making him leave it until allowed to eat it). Mojo is very energetic and spends most of the day outside unless it is extremely hot and then he prefers laying on the cool tile floors inside. He does not seem to be able to handle the heat very well with all of his thick black fur. On hot days we take him and our black Lab to the creek to swim. He loves the water. Mojo seems to look more like a Golden Retriever than a Chow. Mojo's tongue is pink with black spots all over it. One of his brothers had a black tongue like the Chow mothers. I'm not sure what you would name him but we call him a Chowtriever. He seems to have a very good disposition and we all love him so much."
