Bruin the Great Danoodle at 1 year old—"Bruin is an F1 Great Danoodle who was bred at Wabash Valley Great Danoodles. He is 100lb and the sweetest, smartest boy ever!"
The Great Danoodle is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Great Dane and the Poodle. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
Lola the Great Danoodle as a puppy at 14 weeks old—"This is my Great Dane / Standard Poodle mix. Her mom was a 110-pound merle Great Dane and the dad was a 90-pound blue Standard Poodle. At 14 weeks she already weighs 50 lbs.! She is incredibly smart, calm and an all-around great family dog. Some of the other puppies in the litter had the longer Poodle-type hair but Lola has a somewhat short, wiry coat."
