Ralph the Labradoodle at 7 years old—"Ralph is my best friend. He goes everywhere with me and is truly unique in every sense of the word. He understands everything about me and answers to my every need. You see I am an amputee and Ralph is my service dog. He walks right by my side at all times and provides the stability I need to walk and do my daily chores. No one trained Ralph to be a service dog but he is certified as one. He truly is my best friend and has never failed to be there when I needed him. By the way, neither one of us believe him to be a just a dog nor do I every call him that. I believe he would be insulted to hear that from me."
