Branka the Neo Bullmastiff mix breed dog as a puppy at 5 months old—"Branka is a Neapolitan Bullmastiff or Italian Bullmastiff (a Neapolitan Mastiff Bullmastiff cross). Her mother/dam was a mahogany colored full Neapolitan Mastiff and her father/sire was a black brindle Bullmastiff. Branka is laid back and mellow most of the time, but she has playful spurts throughout the day. She is good with children, and other dogs thanks to a lot of socialization. She is incredibly intelligent, right up there with my Doberman. She has and amazing memory which can be good and bad! Branka has a great stable temperament. At 6 months old she weighed 62 pounds (28 kg.)"

Description

The Neo Bullmastiff is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Bullmastiff and the Neapolitan Mastiff. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
