Marley the Boston Terrier / Beagle mix (Boglen Terrier) at 9 months old—"We have decided she is a big dog trapped in a small dog's body (20 lbs. small)! Marley is very, very, very energetic and has the Boston lack of attention span and the Beagle nose. These make it challenging to train her to walk on a loose leash but lots of treats and lots of reinforcement made it possible for her to accomplish this. Regardless of her less loveable qualities, she is one of the most loving, loyal and comforting dogs. Her favorite things to do consist of: licking (typically people), eating (all tastes good to her) and playing (with other dogs, people, doesn't matter to her!). Sounds like your typical dog, huh? Oh no, not Marley, she has the most interesting personality and constantly keeps us on our toes, every time we turn around she is doing something that makes us grab for the camera (i.e. climbing on the window sill)! Marley is the type of dog that always will try her hardest to keep up with you, whether it be hiking, walking, running, or swimming; she loves to be active and won't calm down and sleep until she's out of gas. Our advice to future Boglen Terrier owners is to be patient, give lots of reinforcement and a lot of love."

"This is Abby-Lu, her real name Abbigail, at approximately two to three months old. She is now 11 months old and the best dog I could ever ask for! She is my first dog, and very loving. She loves to be wherever we are and is very good with any other kind of dog. If she can get a dog to chase her, she will! Very fast, haven't found many others who will keep up that aren't twice her size. Very smart, was trained basic commands easily. Best in her puppy kindergarten class! Looking forward to putting her in Flyball. Will run and run, doesn't get tired. She hasn't killed anything yet, but will chase after squirrels or birds. I guess her first kill was her Kong toy; she loves to tear apart any toy she can get her hands on—no matter how tough they say it is, she'll rip it up! She is very sweet and anyone who spends time with her falls in love."
