Gizmo the Caucasian Mountain Dog / Husky mix breed dog at 3 years old—"Gizmo is great around kids, but men and strangers not so much. He is very protective over my mother and I. He does not let strangers come onto our property without us there. He has very thick hair, if we do not brush him constantly it will get matted. He listens well but only to me or my mother. We walk him everyday or take him to my aunts farm, he loves running!"

Description

The Caucasian Husky is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Siberian Husky and the Caucasian Shepherd Dog. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
