"This is Daisey Bleu. She is a hooded Russian Blue Rex. A VERY sweet girl whose favorite pastime is digging in the dirt and eating frozen peas."
"This is Daisey Bleu's brother Mr. Lunt. Although he was also a lover, he was a polar opposite of Daisey. He hated to be dirty and preferred salty snacks such as pretzels and pizza crust."

"This is Whiskey the rat. Whiskey was my pet when I was a kid. Although some people think rats are icky, rats make better pets for kids than hamsters. This rat would sit on my shoulder as I walked around the house. It loved to be held and never bit a soul."
Conny at 3 years of age—"She is a caramel hooded rat. It's hard to choose a favorite one, but she is, as she is the oldest. She has the best personality that someone could wish for and she has the funniest walk ever (she has a waddle and it is so funny)."
Bonny, the agouti hooded rat—"Bonny developed a tumor and a chest infection that wouldn't go away so in the end she was put down because it just wasn't fair to her anymore. She lived to the age of 2 and a half." Bonny and Conny are sisters.
"Then there are the babies Cassy, Ebony and Honey. They are all 13 months in these pictures and despite what people say about elder rats not getting on with younger ones, these four get on exceptionally well."
"Cassy is still a little timid but we’re getting there."
"Ebony will try to escape at any chance she can get; luckily she hasn't worked out how to open the doors!!!!!"
"Honey is a little sweetie. If you blow on her in the cage she tries to catch the air it is so funny."
