Ladybird the Rhodesian Ridgebackd crossed with a Rottweiler at 1 year old—"Ladybird is very loving and playful. She is part of our family. At 80lbs (36 kg.) she still thinks she is a lap dog. Ladybird is hyper active, bouncing up and down left and right, but all in all she is the best dog I have ever had."

Other Names
  • Rhodesian Rottie Ridgeback
Description

The Rhodesian Rottie is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Rhodesian Ridgeback and the Rottweiler. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

Everyone who sees her falls in love with her and all are rewarded with her trademark sloppy kisses. In this photo Winnie just finished a game of fetch in the Pacific Ocean. She fetched sticks and her ball in the water for over an hour and even though she was exhausted, we still had to drag her out."
