Maggie the Sloughi / Saluki mix breed dog at 1 year old—"Maggie is very affectionate, loves cuddling, the sand, and running. I run with her quite a bit since am a fitness bum. She is the perfect partner for me. I know she would love the beach but, where I am, dogs are not allowed in about 70% to 80% of the beaches in the country. She doesn't do any tricks apart from sit and not pooping or peeing in the house."
The Saluki Sloughi is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Sloughi and the Saluki. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
