Icy Girl the Chipit (Chihuahua and American Pit Bull Terrier mix) at 2 years old—"This is Icy Girl. She is the most loving dog. She loves hugs and likes to give tons of kisses. With most dogs you can not tell when they are smiling but with Icy you can see hers. It’s the cuties thing. She almost died on me twice. My other dog bit her on the head 3 days after her puppy picture was taken at 4 weeks old. She lost half the blood in her body and spent 24 hours in a hospital in an incubator on oxygen. When I brought her home she still could not walk. She would lay there and potty and poop on herself and not move. The doctors didn’t think she would make it, but I wouldn’t give up. A friend gave me a Virgin Mary candle and 3 red roses the morning I brought her home. I lit the candle for 3 days. I prayed on that candle. The third day it went out still half full of wax. It would not light again. She healed in 3 days as if nothing had happened. I still to this day have that candle and it will not lite. She’s got an angel or she knows I need her. She is the light of my life. I don’t know what I would do without her. She is the best thing that has happened to me. "

"Shogan the Chipit (Chihuahua and American Pit Bull Terrier mix) weighing 30 pounds full grown—His mother is a Pit Bull and his father a Chihuahua."
"This is Shogan. He is a Chihuahua and American Pit Bull Terrier mix. His mother is a Pitbull and his father a Chihuahua. He is 4 years old in this picture. Only slightly taller than a normal size Chihuahua but very muscular like a Pitbull, he weighs about 30 lbs. of solid muscle. There were 5 puppies in his litter and only 1 ended up being bigger like a Pitbull the rest stayed small. I am 5'5" and he comes up just below my knees. He will give a warning bark to let me know someone is at the door. Very loving dog. Does not shed, only needs a bath or brushing about once a month. Loves water, not a good swimmer, though; his head is too heavy in the water."
