T.J. the Chipit at 11 months old—"T.J.'s momma is a Chihuahua and his daddy is a Pit Bull. He was premature because his mother had trouble carrying him and his deceased sibling. I nurtured him his first night home because his momma was on meds and had no idea what was going on. He is extremely energetic, very muscular, and weighs 30 pounds. He is playful and loves attention."

Description

The Chipit is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Chihuahua and the American Pit Bull Terrier. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

"Miloh is 50% Pit Bull and 50% Chihuahua. He is pictured at 9 weeks and 8 lbs. Very quick learner, was leash trained in one day. Potty trained by 6 weeks. Knows how to fetch, sit and shake. He is friendly toward children and all sizes of dogs and is very social. He does not bark and whines very little. Large appetite. Loves to cuddle up close and personal. Does not drool or nip. Great apartment dog. Does well by himself. Great temperament. Docile. I have severe allergies to dogs and I can cuddle as much as I want with Miloh without any symptoms."
