Banda the Ski-Border (Border Collie / American Eskimo mix at 4 years old—"He is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. He likes playing hide and seek with other dogs. He dislikes people or other dogs going by his purple food dish. He knows a lot of tricks, including weaving between legs, roll over, shake a paw, jump over my legs, sneeze, sit, down, stay, run and jump into my arms, balance a book on his head, crawl under stuff, balance treat on his nose, agility and jumping like a tiger."

Description

The Ski-Border is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the American Eskimo and the Border Collie. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
