Shadow is a Border Collie. Here is a picture of Shadow herding a ball in her owners’ backyard during a game of kickball. When her owner kicks the ball, Shadow hits it with her nose, herding it back to them. While herding it back, if it goes too far past the owner, she does not give up; she herds it until she gets it back so it can be kicked again. In the summer she herds Fluff, a Pomeranian into the pool for a swim.
